Ahmed Ibrahim Gives His Verdict On The Super Eagles Aftermath Their Win Over Liberia And The Away Game Against Cape Verde

The owner of Golden Boots Soccer Academy, Ahmed Ibrahim; the football Academy that discovered Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa and others like Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu, among others, has finally spoken out his impression on the Super Eagles performance against Liberia in the Qatar 2022 world qualifier played in Lagos on Friday.

Coach Bros, as he’s popularly called, applauds the Eagles for getting this first victory even without conceding to sit at the top of the group.

The first match in any tournament, competition and even qualifiers for a big event like this, especially to the world cup proper is very important as the result will relieve the players of any type of pressure into the next match against Cape Verde.”

Coach Bros continues: “No more minor in football and Nigerians should commend these players for this win,the players did what is expected of them, the slim 2-0 win notwithstanding. Nigerians should not forget that 85% of these Liberia players are based abroad, plying their trade in Countries like: Spain, Netherlands, Turkey, Sweden, Czech Republic, Switzerland, and many more.”

Ibrahim Ahmed enjoins the players to consolidate on that win over Liberia as they face Cape Verde on Tuesday.

It will be recalled that Cape Verde held Central Africa Republic to a 1-1 draw at away to place second behind the Super Eagles of Nigeria with one point.
The match between Cape Verde and Nigeria will be on Tuesday by 5pm.

The Super Eagles will be gunning for their seventh World Cup finals in Qatar to make their fourth successive appearance but must scale the qualifier hurdles first.
