BET9JA, PLATEAU STATE CHAPTER COLLABORATES WITH SSI MEDIA ON SPORT’S EXTRAVAGANZA

Sports has been described as an avenue to unite and empower the youths from the grassroots. As it is also seen as a machinary of maintaining peace and Development.

This was the view of Plateau State Bet9ja Super agent Mr Franklin Ikechukwu at the meeting of the company and her media partner ssimedia and other stakeholders.

The meeting held at the Eagle Valley Hotel jos was to intimate all stakeholders on the forthcoming Bet9ja Sports Extravaganza on the Plateau.

According to Franklin Ikechukwu, the event tagged 4 in One package Sports Extravaganza, is basically designed to unite the youths and preach peace among the populace in Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

He further stated that the sporting events which is scheduled to hold between the 5th –20th February at Rwang pam stadium and the Rayfield Volleyball court in Jos, will see youths compete in Football, Volleyball, Basketball and Para-soccer.

Franklin Ikechukwu said the prize money for the football winner will go home with one million naira, runner up with four hundred thousand while the 3rd placed team will have one hundred thousand naira only.

In Para-soccer, the winner will cart home with the star prize of five hundred thousand naira;Basketball winner three hundred thousand naira while that of volleyball will go home with two hundred thousand naira.

According to Super agent Franklin, the registration fee for football teams is fifteen thousand naira only as that of volleyball and basketball goes for five thousand naira respectively. He said that of Para-soccer is free.

He announced that the forms which are already on sale can be got at the Bet9ja office opposite Onigbinde Stores Ahmadu Bello Way,Jos.

According to the programme of events the grand finale will hold on the 26th February 2022 at the Rwang Pam Stadium by 8am.

While assuring everyone especially the sponsors of a well organised and publicised extravaganza, the CEO of the media partners SSIMEDIA, Sammy Adesoji,assured the organizers of adequate media coverage & mileage from the opening ceremony to the closing ceremony of the events.

Present at the stakeholders meeting are the SSI MEDIA staff, Mr Sunny Tsaku- volleyball referee,David King-veteran broadcaster/volleyball referee,a Para-soccer coach David Vogam and other Bet9ja agents in Plateau State.
