Jazzy Stars Football Club:

Jazzy Stars Football Club was conceived in 1996 and came into full operation in 1998 when the owner of the club, Mr. Sammy Adesoji gained admission into the University of Jos.

Jazzy Stars FC was born out of necessity!


Jazzy Stars FA came into existence just to keep the restless youths and children who always engage themselves in fights and heated battles every Saturday and Sunday evenings in the Nasarawa Gwong, Angwan Rukuba, Yantrailer, Tina Junction and Fudawa axis of Jos North LGA, Jos, Plateau State, useful to themselves and society; and also creating peaceful coexistence and unity amongst them.

All efforts to accomplish the aforementioned proved abortive not until a ball was bought and brought to a field that was like the boundary leading to their weekend battle faceoff!

Although as little boys then, their confrontations was devoid of any form of weapons used against each other except their fists over issues adults or mature minds will count as unimportant and unnecessary, but to them at that tender age was huge!

But through this game called football, they were brought together as friends and made to see the better sides of life. And to God Almighty be the glory, most of these “little warriors” then are now blessings to themselves, family and the society at large!

Football indeed is a blessing in disguise. I can tell you authoritatively and with heart full of joy and gratitude to God Almighty that through this football via Jazzy Stars FC, most of them are now doing well in their various life endeavors and careers.

Jazzy Stars have produced players playing abroad and in the Nigeria leagues, some of her former players have gone into coaching, management, administration, refereeing, sports kits making, and about three of her former players now own and run their own different football academies, amongst other loads of professions.

Jazzy Stars football fraternity is made up of:

Jazzy Stars FA(Under-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-15 and Under-16)

Jazzy Stars Feeders (Under-17 and Under-18).

Jazzy Stars FC (Under-19 and Under-20).

We have 6 Coaches. 2 each for Jazzy Stars FA, Jazzy Stars Feeders and Jazzy Stars FC.

Jazzy Stars of Jos have participated in different competitions/Tournaments:

Won Plateau State Super League in 2002 and 2007.

Got to the Semi Final stage of the State Challenge Cup in 2007 and 2018, loosing to Plateau United FC and Mighty Jets FC respectively.

Got to the final of the Late Stephen Keshi Under-17 competition in Asaba, Delta State in 2019.

Won the NLO Division 3 Gwagwalada center in Abuja in 2022 and got promoted to NLO Division 2.

Got to the final of Abuja AMAC Coaches Under-15 competition in 2022.

Got to the final of the Bayern Munich Youth World Cup in Lagos in 2019.

Got to the semi final of the Senator Shekarau Cup in Kano.

Got to the semi final of the AMAPRO scouting tournament in Ilorin, Kwara State in 2019.

Won alot of grassroots competitions on the Plateau.

Held the 2019 world cup bound Golden Eaglets to 1-1 draw in Abuja. Their last match played in Nigeria before their final camping in Turkey enruote the World Cup in Brazil.

Jazzy Stars Football Club won the maiden edition of the SSI PREMIERSHIP regular season.

They won 15 games , drew once and lost twice in 18 games getting a total number of 46 points.

They scored 41 goals only second to El Spuron’s 42 goals and conceded 18 goals with a positive goal difference of +23.
