General Manager, Marketing Director And Assistant GM Pay Mighty Jets Feeders An August Visit With Promise To An Improved Welfare Package Among Others:


It was joy, a sigh of relief and a celebration of sorts in the camp of Mighty Jets Feeders as the General Manager of Mighty Jets International FC fraternity, Mbum Ferdinand, the Marketing Director, Yusuf Akietiemhe and the Assistant General Manager, Salisu Nakande paid the team a surprise visit.

Welcoming the distinguished trio, the Team Manager of Mighty Jets Feeders FC, Sammy Adesoji, appreciated the timely visit, which is the first by both the General Manager and the Marketing Director, describing it as an August visit that will go a long way in getting more from the players who just booked a quarter final ticket of the Plateau State FA Cup after beating Hill Saints FC via penalties in the Round of 16.

A visibly impressed GM, Mbum Ferdinand, promised an improved and more professional package for the team as against what’s obtainable in the past.

According to Mbum Ferdinand: “It’s unprofessional that you guys were not paid match bonuses and traveling allowance before now, but henceforth, there will be match bonuses and traveling allowance.”

He went further to assure the players and the technical crew of improved take home pay: “Your monthly salary will be improved upon and every facilities needed for your uttermost output will be made available but your commitment and professionalism is needed for that promotion ticket to the second tier of Nigeria club football, the NLO Division One.”

On his own part, the Marketing Director of Mighty Jets International FC, Yusuf Akietiemhe, also promised a better welfare package for the team as sponsors gotten for the club fraternity will be made public soonest.

The Chief Coach of the team, Garba Musa Bambers, commended the Management led by the General Manager for the serene and enabling environment provided to work. He promised that him and his technical crew will give their all to attain the mandate set for the team, which is promotion.

The team will be embarking on a pre-season/ scouting tournament in Ogun State known as the Evolution Cup later this month, as it prepares for the kickoff of the NLO Division One league slated for the 13th of April, 2024.
