JAFA 2022: It’s A Four Goals Thriller Between Jazzy Stars Feeders And Shishok FA In The Return Of JAFA League As Eight Games Take Place Today


Football fans that thronged the GSS Laranto Playground yesterday couldn’t stop from asking for more as players of both Jazzy Stars Feeders and Shishok Football Academy ditched out some out of this world soccer artistry in the opening ceremony of the once adored and prestigious grassroots league known as the JAFA League.

In the match witnessed by a large crowd, ended 2-2 between new entrants, Jazzy Stars Feeders and Shishok FA.

Shishok FA went ahead as early as the 19th minute via Yakubu Matthew. Kenneth Dabagai equalized almost immediately in the 23rd minute after a neat work from the flank by Oladayo…

Matthew Yakubu got his brace and second for his team in the 53rd minute to give Shishok FA a 2-1 lead.

But when the Shishok boys taught they’ve carried the day, Jazzy Stars Feeders’ no nonsense defender, Junior Chuwang, got the equalizer for the Galaxies as Jazzy Stars are fondly called in the dying minutes of the match, to end the encounter, 2-2.

Matches continue today. At the GSS Laranto Playground, Relentless FA will battle it out with JAFA League regulars, Plateau Hommers FC by 2pm.

By 4pm, Jazzy Stars Feeders barely less than 24 hours after been held to a 2-2 draw yesterday will entertain Austin Amutu FA by 4pm at the same GSS Laranto Playground.

In Group B, SDA field at the same Laranto by 2pm, will see the game between debutants, Ademule FC and Sauki fc pans out.

By 4pm, in the same group at the same venue, JAFA League regulars, Nationale FC and Tijara FC will renew rivalries.

In Group C, at Commonwealth Secondary School Playground, Utan United FC will confront JAFA League regulars, Elkanemi Juniors by 2pm.

By 4pm and at the same venue, City Rollers will square up against Samscyon FA.

In group D, it will be JAFA League experience in the two matches slated for this group slated for St. John’s College Football field.

In the first match a JAFA League regular, Golden Boys fc will tackle AB Academy by 2pm, while another JAFA League experience side, Tempers FC, coached by an experienced coach, Adeyemi Dairo, will lock horns with Sauki Under-17.
