JAFA 2022: Teams Battle For Qualification As Match Day 4 Takes Place Across Different Venues Today


Football fans that will be in either of the four venues where the revived Jos North Amateur Football Association League will be taking place later today will never be short of football skills, action and dramatic goals as match day 4 gets underway.

At the GSS Laranto Playground, Group A 2nd placed team, Plateau Hommers FC, with 4pts from 2 matches will by 4pm today take on a wounded Shishok FA who lead the group from the bottom with only 1pt from 2 matches played. Anything fall short of a win or at least a draw today will shatter their dream of making it to the quarter finals.

Earlier by 2pm in Group A at the same venue, 3rd placed Relentless FA with 3pts from 2 matches will lock horns with a 4th placed Jazzy Stars Feeders who will be fighting for their first win having picked only 1pt from 2 matches.

In Group B, at the SDA field, Katako, all 4 teams in action today are yet to taste the sweetness of victory in 2 matches, hence, the quartet will be going for the broke today.
Onyawu FC with 1pt will battle it out with Tijara FC with 1pt as well by 2pm, while by 4pm, Ademule FC with 1pt will have their hands full against a Nationale FC team with 2pts.

Group C runaway leaders, Elkanemi Juniors with 6 maximum points from 2 matches, will take a breather today as the quartet of Samscyon FA with 0pt from 2 matches, engage Eleven Stars FC with 1pt by 2pm, while by 4pm, City Rollers FC with 3pts will entertain Utan United with 0pt.
Both matches will be played at the Commonwealth Secondary School Playground.

Naraguta Grammar School Playground will play host to a Group D that has 3 teams with zero point.

By 2pm, Sauki Under-17 with 3pts will a West Side FC team with no point yet, while by 4pm, AB Academy with zero point will size themselves out with a Tempers FC side with no point as well.
