Italian giants Juventus have confirmed that they will take on Arsenal in a friendly during the World Cup break.

A winter World Cup, which is currently taking place in Qatar, means that club sides have a break until the end of December.

With teams hoping to keep their non-World Cup players fit, several friendlies have been arranged for these weeks.

Juve and Arsenal will go head to head at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, December 17.

Arsenal are also having their winter training camp in Dubai, with manager Mikel Arteta recently stating: “We’re looking forward to spending time together on the training pitch in a warmer climate.

“It’ll be a nice change of environment and a great opportunity for us to work hard and prepare for the second half of the season. Dubai is a fantastic place and the football facilities there are first-class.

“The Dubai Super Cup also gives us the opportunity to test ourselves against two strong sides in Lyon and AC Milan – it’ll be a great experience for the squad.”
