Manchester United have confirmed their full legends squad to face Liverpool at Anfield this Saturday at 3pm.

United lost the first ‘Legends of the North’ fixture at Old Trafford in May of this year. Luis Garcia opened the scoring for Liverpool in the first half, followed by a brace after the break from Mark Gonzalez to condemn United to a 3-1 defeat.

The first charity game raised over £1.3million for the Manchester United Foundation, with Dimitar Berbatov scoring United’s only goal of the clash. Former striker Andy Ritchie will take charge of the team at the weekend, in the absence of Bryan Robson, and will be assisted by Andy Cole.

United have confirmed 15 players for the match against the Merseyside club, with midfield pair Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick set to come into the squad.

Danny Pugh, Darron Gibson and Fraizer Campbell will also make their maiden appearance for the Legends, featuring alongside regulars such as Denis Irwin, Jaap Stam and Ronny Johnsen. Former captain Antonio Valencia is scheduled to make another appearance in the match.

Tickets for the game are still on sale and can be purchased online here, while premium tickets are also available from £50 and hospitality tickets start at £130. More details can be found here.
