SSI Championship: Learning FC Make Joecas FC Learn The Hard Way At Home As Sajeh FA Host A Resilient Skylink FC Today

It was a more purposeful and more coordinated Joecas Football Academy on display yesterday at home at the Naraguta Grammar School Playground, but met a very hard nut to crack in Learning FC loosing 1-2 to the boys from Bukuru.

Daniel Moses got the fastest goal thus far in the second tier of the SSI leagues, netting the first goal in 47 seconds for Learning FC.

Joecas FA, through Khalid , equalized in the 29th minute via a bullet of a shot that beat the Learning goalkeeper pants down!

Learning FC got the winning goal in the 55th minute via Louis Daboerr to end the encounter: Joecas FA 1 Learning FC 2.

The win catapult Learning FC to second on the log with 14 points from 7 matches, while Joecas FA, with the defeat, remain at the 9th position on the 12 team table with 5 points from 7 matches played.

A samba playing Sajeh Football Academy will be gunning for nothing but victory today when they play host to a Skylink FC side who knows that a victory in today’s encounter will push them from the 4th to the 2nd position, while a draw will keep them at 4th position.

Meanwhile, the match between host, Tijara FC and Jazzy Stars Feeders, earlier fixed for Saturday at 4pm, has been moved to Tuesday by 6:30am.
The Management of Tijara FC complained to the league body, SSI Leagues about the difficulty in getting the field for use on Saturday, hence, the said match will now take place on Tuesday by 6:30am at the same field.
